The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB Admission Status Checking Portal For UTME and Direct Entry Candidates for 2020 and previous years.

This is to notify the wide public that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB admission status checking portal for the 2020/2021 proposed students has been enabled.

All the candidates who applied for admission into their school of choice and engaged in the Post UTME Screening exercise are encouraged to verify their admission status on the Jamb portal.

Where can I check my admission status?

You can check your Admission Status on the UTME website as well as your college’s portal, where you applied for admission.

How To Check Jamb Admission Status

Follow the steps provided below to check your admission status on the Jamb website.

Step 1. Go to Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) E-facility portal at jamb.org.ng/efacility using a PC or chrome browser on mobile.

  • Step 2. Login with your JAMB PORTAL credentials (email and password you created during Jamb registration)

    Step 3. After logging in, click on the options button (the button with a 3 dash) at the top of the page.

    Step 4. You’ll see CAPS under the tag ‘Admissions.’ Click on it, and you’ll be taken to the CAPS page.

    Step 5. If the page only shows ‘welcome’, click on options on your mobile’s browser and change the view of the page to ‘desktop view.’ This is why using a Laptop/PC is preferable.

    Step 6. The options listed on the left-hand side. Click on ‘Admission Status.

    Step 7. Your details will be displayed on your screen. If you are admitted, you can either ‘Accept admission’ or ‘Reject admission.’

    If your school is yet to release the admission list, it will read: “admission in progress, check back later” under the tag ‘Admission Status.’ In this case, you won’t be able to click on the ‘Accept admission’ or ‘Reject admission’ button.
