Introduction

As a pre-production device without commercial-grade firmware, the Magic V2 is the focal point of our analyses. Honor has not yet made the Magic V2’s international launch plans public, but we are confident that it will happen soon. The gadget has bigger dimensions view and lighter weight than the iPhone 13 Pro Max. The Magic V2 now weighs 231g thanks to a 30g weight reduction from Honor, although there may be restrictions based on the material of the back surface. The Magic V2 Design and Hardware

Honor engineers designed new components for the Magic V2, including an ultra-thin titanium hinge and a 12.8% higher energy-density silicon-carbon battery. These components allow more juice to be crammed into a smaller cell, resulting in a thinner phone. The improved energy density is believed to be partially responsible for the weight reduction, despite the same 5,000mAh capacity. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset should also help extend the phone’s lifespan.

Google Mobile Services are active on the Magic Vs, which runs Honor’s MagicOS on Android 13. Being the greatest user of Honor’s MagicOS, it does have a few issues such as large app icons, a lack of an app box, and that you need to reach the top in order to see the notification display. But Honor’s multitasking system is regarded as one of the best in the industry, especially for foldable phones.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is set to be launched in two weeks, featuring its software and a heavier and thicker design than the Magic V2. The Magic V2’s thickness may be a challenge for some users.
